Elena Gomez

Elena Gomez is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and media relations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Media Relations at the University of San Diego since March 2020, Elena also works as a freelance News Reporter for ABC 7 News in Los Angeles. In addition, Elena is the founder and host of HomeTold with Elena, a hyperlocal lifestyle blog focused on North County San Diego. Previous roles include a Digital Media Producer at NBCUniversal Media, an English Teaching Assistant at the French Embassy in the United States, and various positions at NBCUniversal Media and CBS Sports. Elena holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from San Diego State University and a BFA in Television and Broadcast Journalism from Chapman University.
