Nico Wallace

Nico Wallace, AIA, currently serves as Design Principal and CA Licensed Architect at Matrix Design Studio since May 2016, while also contributing as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of San Diego since January 2023 and at Woodbury University from August 2021 to January 2023. Prior academic engagement includes a role as Professor of Architecture at NewSchool of Architecture & Design in 2021. Wallace's earlier professional experience includes working as a Project Assistant for the National Democratic Institute, providing translation services for electoral oversight projects in Angola, Mozambique, and Madagascar, as well as serving as Executive Assistant at NSC Agua, S.A. de C.V. in the development of a desalination plant. Wallace's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Architecture from Woodbury University. Additional studies were completed at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and the University of St Andrews.
