Russell Yost

Russell Yost, APR has extensive work experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. Russell is currently the Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at the University of San Diego. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Washington as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications for the College of Arts & Sciences. Yost also served as the Chief Communications Officer and Associate Vice President for University Communications at Willamette University. Russell was also a Contributing Assistant Professor at Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management, where they taught the Integrated Marketing Communications elective. Yost has additional experience as the Director of Marketing at Willamette University and as an Account Executive at the Statesman Journal/Gannett. Russell began their career as a Public Relations Intern at VanNatta Public Relations, Inc. and also worked as a Legislative Assistant for the Oregon Legislative Assembly.

Russell Yost, APR earned their MBA in Marketing from Willamette University in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their BBA in Marketing and International Business from Gonzaga University, with honors. In 2014, they obtained the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Additionally, in 2009, they completed the Master Teacher Program and received a Certificate of Completion from Georgia State University.
