Brian Davis, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Head of School for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at San Domenico School since June 2024. In this role, Brian collaborates with senior leadership to enhance equity and inclusion across various sectors of the school. Brian also holds positions as an Advisory Board Member for Breakthrough San Francisco, and as a Board Member for People of Color in Independent Schools (POCIS-NorCA). Additionally, Brian is active at the University of San Francisco as the Assistant Managing Editor of the International Journal of Human Rights Education, a co-instructor for a graduate-level course on White Supremacy, Whiteness, and Privilege, and a founding member of the Black Educology Journal. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Harker School and a DEI Consultant at OCEAN YOGA LLC. Brian’s academic background includes a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s in Human Rights Education, and a Bachelor's in African-American/Black Studies.
