Donal Godfrey

Donal Godfrey is a dedicated member of The Society of Jesus, currently serving as a Celebrant at St Agnes Parish in San Francisco since January 2015 and as the University Chaplain at The University of San Francisco since October 2020. With extensive experience in various roles within the Jesuit education system, Donal was a member of the Board of Trustees at Spring Hill College from June 2013 to 2019 and has served as the Executive Director of University Ministry and Associate Director at the University of San Francisco. Previous roles include Chaplain at Loyola University Chicago, Resident Minister at The University of San Francisco, and Deacon with The Archdiocese of San Francisco. Donal's involvement in reconciliation projects in Northern Ireland showcases a commitment to fostering understanding across communities. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Ministry from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, an S.T.L. from the Jesuit School of Theology, and various advanced degrees in theology and law.
