Gary Crandall

Gary Crandall is an experienced horticulturist and landscape professional with a diverse background in gardening and landscape maintenance. Currently serving as a Gardener at the University of San Francisco since February 2020, Gary is also the Owner of The Kitchen Gardener, a business focused on designing and installing edible landscapes. Previous roles include Head Gardener at 7 Roots Ranch and Landscape Maintenance Foreman at Calvin C Craig Landscaping. Experience extends back to positions such as Garden Manager at Buttercup Farms and Chico Hot Springs, and Organic Gardener at Mudd's Restaurant. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Ecological Horticulture from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Certificate in Landscape Horticulture from Merritt College, and a BA in Digital Graphics from California State University - East Bay.
