Mary McInerney is an accomplished editor and communications professional with extensive experience in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently at the University of San Francisco since April 2014, Mary serves as the Editor of USF Magazine and USF News, where expertise in storytelling and data-driven content creation is applied. Additionally, Mary instructs a course for first-semester college students, focusing on writing, academic preparation, and personal development. Previous roles include Director of Development Communications and Associate Director of Development Communications at the University of San Francisco, as well as various positions in communications and journalism, including Director of Communications and Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund at Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors from The George Washington University and a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco.
