Opinder Bawa

Opinder Bawa currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of San Francisco, a position held since 2014. In addition, Opinder is a member of the CNBC Technology Executive Council since 2023 and has been active on the Technology Advisory Board for Benhamou Global Ventures since 2020. Opinder previously contributed to Saama's Clinical Technology Advisory Board from 2010 to 2022 and served on the CIO Advisory Board for Salesforce.org from 2011 to 2021. Earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer at the University of California, San Francisco, and Vice President and CTO at SCO, among others. Opinder holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The City University of New York.
