Patricia Francis-Lyon

Patricia Francis-Lyon serves as the Director of Bioinformatics and Research at Digbi Health, specializing in precision digital therapeutics with a focus on gut microbiome and genetics since September 2020. Concurrently, Patricia has been an Associate Professor of Health Informatics and Computer Science at the University of San Francisco since August 2010, following earlier roles as Assistant Professor in the same departments. Prior to this academic tenure, Patricia gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis from 2005 to 2010 and worked as a Software Developer at Ebates between 2000 and 2003. Patricia also contributed to education as a Computer Science Teacher at Berkeley Unified School District from 1992 to 1999. Patricia holds a PhD in Computer Science, with a focus on Computational Biology, from the University of California, Davis.
