Simon Tan

Simon Tan is an accomplished academic and clinician with extensive experience in psychology. Currently serving as Affiliate Faculty at the University of San Francisco since October 2012, Tan also contributes as a blog writer for Psychology Today's "Wise Up," which focuses on adult aging issues. Tan has held teaching positions at UC Berkeley Extension and Saybrook University, among others, and has occupied roles such as Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies and Lecturer at Stanford University's Continuing Studies. In addition to academic roles, Tan is a neuropsychologist at Stanford University Medical Center and previously worked as a staff psychologist at NYU Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Psychopharmacology from Alliant International University and a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University, complemented by various clinical internships at prestigious institutions.
