Vanessa George

Vanessa George, Psy.D., MBA, serves as Director of Graduate Career Services at the University of San Francisco since February 2013, where strategic leadership is provided in career management, education, and recruitment for over 500 graduate students. Vanessa also held interim directorship for the Master of Non-Profit Administration Program and the MS in Organization Development Program, overseeing aspects such as student recruitment, curriculum management, and employer partnerships. As Principal of Vanessa George & Associates, a leadership and career development consultancy, expertise includes career coaching and strategic job transitions. Vanessa's prior roles include Board Co-Chair of the Women of Color Action Network, Senior Manager of Leadership Development at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and Director of Development at UCSF Medical Center. Academically, Vanessa holds a Psy.D. in Organization Development, an MBA from Georgetown University, and a BA in English Literature from Stanford University.
