Samuel Asoro

Samuel Asoro is an experienced accounting and finance professional with a robust background in various roles across esteemed organizations. Currently serving as an Accounting Assistant in Research and Financial Operations at the University of Saskatchewan since September 2022, Samuel previously worked as a Banking Advisor at RBC from October 2021 to August 2022. Prior to this, Samuel spent over a decade at Ecobank Nigeria, holding multiple positions including Advisor and Compliance & Control Auditor in Treasury Operations, Audit and Compliance Controller, and Resident Internal Control Officer. Earlier experience includes a role as Cluster Monitoring Officer at UBA Group. Samuel holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA and a B.Sc. in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos.
