Zsuzsa Papp, PhD, serves as the Senior Advisor for Business Development at Mitacs since May 2016, facilitating research collaborations between companies, non-profit organizations, and academic researchers while promoting Mitacs programs across Saskatchewan. Zsuzsa currently holds an elected position as a Senator at the University of Saskatchewan and has a rich background in ecosystem stewardship, having coordinated numerous agreements at Environment Canada from October 2010 to May 2016. Previous roles include postdoctoral research positions at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization and the University of Saskatchewan, where Zsuzsa developed expertise in eco-toxicology, immunology, and data science. Zsuzsa holds a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology from the University of Saskatchewan and has extensive educational credentials from the University of Debrecen, including a Master of Science in Microbiology/Biotechnology.
