Martin Hagvall has extensive work experience in various roles related to game design and development, as well as teaching and consulting in related fields. Martin has worked as a Lecturer and International Director of Game Development at The University of Skövde since 2014, where they lecture in game design and develops curricula. Prior to this, they worked as a Course Director and Instructor in Game Design and Game Studies at The Los Angeles Film School from 2009 to 2014, and as an Adjunct Faculty in Game Design at The Art Institute of California, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2014. Martin has also worked as a Consultant at various companies, including Veritas Prep and The Agency - An Employment Consortium, where they managed client relationships and sourced professionals for senior positions. In addition, they have experience as an instructor and consultant in subjects such as Business Administration, Leadership, and Conflict Resolution. Martin has also developed curriculum and implemented innovative programs in game design and experiential learning.
Martin Hagvall has a Master of Science degree in Information Technology/Serious Games from the University of Skövde. Martin also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from the USC Marshall School of Business. Additionally, Martin earned a Master of Science degree in International Relations, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations/Social Science, both from the University of Gothenburg.
