Dr Djalel Chefrour

Dr. Djalel Chefrour is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the University of Souk Ahras, specializing in embedded and distributed systems since 2015 and 2019, respectively. Previous experience includes roles as a Networking Consultant at Technicolor, where development of generic and customer-specific networking software for xDSL gateways contributed to over 80 million deployments, and at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, developing manufacturing software for WiMax CPE. Dr. Chefrour's expertise extends to software consulting for Philips and work as a Software Engineer at Acterna, where significant application core developments were made for testing equipment. As a PhD researcher at INRIA Rennes, contributions were made to adaptable software frameworks in collaboration with France Telecom and Cisco. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Computer Science from Rennes University and a Master’s in Computer Science from Grenoble University, complemented by an Engineering degree from Annaba University.
