Scott Abbott

Scott Abbott has over 21 years of experience in technical services and leadership, primarily within the University of South Australia, where Scott has held various roles since 2004. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Technical Services for UniSA STEM, Scott provides direction to a substantial team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for research and teaching. Prior to this, Scott managed analytical testing services at SA Water and coordinated material characterisation projects at the Ian Wark Research Institute. Earlier experience includes working as a research chemist at FlexiChem Pty Ltd. Scott holds a PhD in Applied Science from the University of South Australia, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science with first-class honors.
