Heather Deal

Heather Deal, MEd, LAT, ATC, currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of South Dakota since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Athletic Trainer for softball, Intern Assistant Athletic Trainer, and Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Liberty University from July 2020 to July 2023. Heather also worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Jacksonville State University from August 2019 to July 2020 and participated as an Athletic Training Student with the baseball team at Liberty University from August 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, involvement with Athletes in Action as an Athletic Training Intern occurred in May 2018. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Liberty University and a Master's degree in Education from the same institution. Heather completed high school education at Sunshine Bible Academy.
