Tamara P. Nash is an accomplished legal professional and educator with extensive experience in both academic and legal settings. Currently serving as the Director of Experiential Learning and Lecturer at the University of South Dakota since December 2021, Nash previously held the role of Special Assistant United States Attorney for the State of South Dakota from March 2016 to December 2021. Earlier, Nash worked as a Deputy State's Attorney for Union County, South Dakota, and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Unified Judicial System. Nash's practical experience includes providing care as a Youth Counselor at Crittenton Emergency Youth Shelter and internships at the United States Attorney's Office and Crary, Huff, Inkster, Sheehan, Ringgenberg, Hartnett & Storm, P.C. Nash earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of South Dakota School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science and Psychology from Wayne State College.
