Michael Wiemer

Michael Wiemer, MBA, currently serves as the Inaugural Director of the USF Fintech Center at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, a position held since November 2021. With extensive experience in higher education strategy and consulting, Michael has worked as a freelance consultant since April 2021 and is a network member at GLG, where expertise includes strategic partnerships and workforce upskilling for both corporate and nonprofit sectors. Prior to these roles, Michael spent over 16 years at AACSB International, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President & Chief Officer Americas, where responsibilities included overseeing regional operations and strategy for the global accreditor. Previous positions also include leadership roles at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Dominican University of California. Michael holds a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in International Business from Dominican University of California, along with additional certifications in Leadership and Influence.
