Jonathan Dawson

Jonathan Dawson is currently the Director of the Centre for Human Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration and a Principal Investigator at the University of Southampton since March 2019. As the Founder and Development Lead of Renovos Biologics Limited, established in November 2017, Jonathan is focused on leveraging orthopaedic research to create new research tools and a novel therapeutic platform for bone repair. Jonathan's past experience at the University of Southampton includes roles such as Career Track Research Fellow and various postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) positions, where significant contributions were made to projects related to stem cell development and bone repair. Jonathan earned a PhD in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Southampton and an undergraduate diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies from the University of Oxford, along with a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Plymouth.
