Kevin Smith holds an MSc in Rapid Product Development from Bournemouth University and has a comprehensive background in engineering management. Since February 2013, Kevin has served as Faculty Production Facilities Manager at the University of Southampton. Prior to this role, Kevin was a Demonstrator in Engineering and Prototyping at Bournemouth University from September 2005 to February 2013, where responsibilities included teaching CAD/CAM programming to undergraduate students. Kevin's earlier experience includes managing production facilities at Harmon Manufacturing Ltd and Micron Wykes Engineering Ltd, with a focus on aerospace component production. Certifications include Chartered Manager and Fellow status with the Chartered Management Institute and membership in both the Royal Society of Arts and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
