Paul Norridge

Paul Norridge is an experienced avionics professional currently serving as the Avionics Manager at ClearSpace since August 2023, leading a team focused on in-orbit servicing. Previous roles include Principal Data Handling Engineer for the UKSA-funded CLEAR project and Training Course Instructor at the University of Southampton. Norridge's extensive background includes a tenure at Airbus as the Spacecraft Electrical Systems Lead for the Exomars Rover and contributions to the Solar Orbiter and Gaia spacecraft as a Data Handling/Avionics Architect at Astrium. Norridge started the career as a System Engineer at Matra Marconi Space, working on the Galileo precursor studies. Academic credentials include a B.A. and Part III in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from Swansea University.
