Peter Hollins

Peter Hollins has extensive leadership experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Chair of the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust since March 2016 and a Council Member at the University of Southampton since the same month, Peter has also been Chair of CLIC Sargent since September 2014. Previously, Peter held the position of Deputy Chairman at the University of Southampton NHS Foundation Trust from 2010 to 2016, and served as Chairman at Blatchford until March 2015. Notably, Peter was the Chief Executive of the British Heart Foundation from 2003 to 2013 and British Energy PLC from 1998 to 2001. Peter's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry from Hertford College, Oxford, earned between 1966 and 1970, after attending East Barnet Grammar School from 1959 to 1966.
