Steffen Staab

Steffen Staab is an accomplished academic and executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and computer science. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Stuttgart, Steffen also holds positions as Founder and Board Member at Industrial Data Lab, Spokesperson for SimTech at the University of Stuttgart, and Co-Speaker for the Interchange Forum for Reflecting Intelligent Systems. Steffen is a faculty member at the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems and a professor at the University of Stuttgart, specializing in Analytic Computing, as well as a professor at the University of Southampton. With a solid academic foundation including a Dr. rer. nat in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg, an M.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania, and several influential roles, including Head of the Institute for Web Science and Technologies, Steffen is a prominent figure in his field.
