Anjali Gopinathan

Anjali Gopinathan is currently an unknown role at the University of Southern California. Prior to this, they worked as an undergraduate research assistant at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from October 2021 to May 2022. There, they developed software toolboxes in Matlab for EEG microstate analyses. Anjali also converted machine learning and statistical equations into comprehensible analyses of topographical EEG data.

Gopinathan has also interned at Niantic, Inc. from May 2021 to August 2021 as a software engineer. There, they developed the heatmap feature for Pokémon Go and Ingress by parsing static and dynamic GPS location data into the server. Anjali also learned path movement algorithms to apply GPS path planning to the heatmap feature which displays heatmap of stationary players.

In May 2020, they began interning as a machine learning developer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space. However, they only held this position until August 2020 when they became a software developer and junior data scientist for a COVID-19 Machine Learning Research Project that lasted until May 2021.

Anjali Gopinathan's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Southern California, as well as a High School Diploma from Canyon Crest Academy. Anjali also has certification from the CITI Program in RCR at USC and Raytheon Technologies in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB).
