Dr. Eric A. Canny

Dr. Eric A. Canny serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Education at the University of Southern California's Rossier School of Education, focusing on the Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership program. With extensive experience in higher education and consultancy, Dr. Canny currently holds the position of Director of Higher Education Partnerships at nextSource and has been a Senior Consultant since 2006, offering expertise in strategic planning, organizational change, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Founding Director and Chief Innovation Officer at the Global Risk Mitigation Foundation, Co-Founder of LAS VIRGINIAS ECGV, and Co-Founder of Genesis Films. Dr. Canny's academic credentials include a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree from New York University, where a PhD was pursued.
