Erik Brink was named interim senior vice president, finance, in January 2023, and has served as vice president, university comptroller, since his appointment in June 2019. Brink has served as the university comptroller since 2004. Prior to joining USC, he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 11 years, the last five as a senior manager, focusing on auditing and consulting with clients in the nonprofit, health care and higher education sectors.
In his role as vice president, university comptroller, Brink oversees payroll services, university taxation, financial systems and external financial reporting. Brink is also responsible for the development and implementation of university financial and accounting policies, procedures and controls and for ensuring university compliance with local, state and federal financial reporting requirements.
