Joseph Itaya

Joseph Itaya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital media management and production. Currently serving as a Professor and Program Director at the University of Southern California since August 2022, Joseph prepares future leaders in the media landscape. As the Founder of Legacy Films, Joseph has created cinematic memoirs and facilitated substantial charitable contributions to notable organizations. In addition to founding Epicenter Media, which pioneered live-action 360VR, Joseph co-hosts and produces the podcast Mediascape: Insights from Digital Changemakers. Joseph also established several organizations, including Muse Academy and EVRLAND, focusing on training young professionals and providing virtual travel experiences for individuals with limited mobility. With a foundation in music from the University of Washington and an M.F.A. from the University of Southern California, Joseph continues to influence fields spanning education, media production, and entrepreneurship.
