Leigh Hopper

Leigh Hopper is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and public information. Prior roles include Senior Public Information Officer at UCLA Health, where strategic media relations campaigns were developed for various medical entities, and Public Information Specialist at the Texas Medical Board, acting as a spokesperson for a state agency. Leigh's journalism background includes positions as a medical writer for the Houston Chronicle and Austin American-Statesman, covering health and medicine with a specialization in infectious disease. Education was completed with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
