Matthew Manos

Matthew Manos serves as the Associate Dean of Challenge-Based Reflective Learning at the USC Iovine and Young Academy, overseeing industry collaboration and academic partnerships. Additionally, Matthew holds the position of Associate Professor of Practice in Design Strategy, where focus areas include strategic foresight, storytelling, and design-driven innovation. As the Founder and Managing Director of verynice, a design strategy practice, Matthew provides half of services pro bono to non-profits. Editorially, Matthew leads the Nine Panel Project, which produces comics addressing social determinants of health, and Reginald, which publishes innovative toolkits. Matthew’s extensive teaching experience spans multiple institutions, emphasizing social entrepreneurship and design strategy, alongside participation in various global speaking engagements and workshops. Matthew's academic background includes an MFA from ArtCenter College of Design and a BA from UCLA.
