Stefan J. Scherer M.d.

Stefan J. Scherer M.D., Ph.D. is an accomplished leader in the fields of oncology and innovative medicine, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of 3T Biosciences since July 2021. With extensive experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, Stefan holds positions as an External Advisory Committee Member at the University of Southern California Center for Cancer Drug Development and as a Member of the Board at Makucell Inc. Previous roles include Global Head of Experimental Medicine at GSK and CMO and SVP of Clinical Development at Cellectis. Stefan’s educational background encompasses an MD from the University of Freiburg and a PhD in Physiological Chemistry from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, supplemented by advanced studies in Bioinformatics at Heidelberg University.
