Tram Sparks

Tram Sparks is an esteemed academic and music professional with extensive experience in choral and sacred music education. Currently serving as a Professor of Practice at the University of Southern California since June 2013, Tram Sparks has held various positions, including Associate Professor and Adjunct Associate Professor. Prior to this, Tram Sparks contributed to the field at Temple University from 1999 to 2009, ultimately serving as Associate Director of Choral Activities, with roles ranging from Lecturer to Associate Professor. Tram Sparks also held a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Dordt University in 1998-1999 and has been affiliated with Beverly Hills Lessons from 2009 until June 2024. The educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Musical Arts from Yale University, as well as a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music from Temple University, specializing in choral conducting and piano performance.
