Christine Wisch

Christine Wisch, Ph.D., serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor of Music History at the University of Southern Indiana since August 2025, following a role as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music from August 2024 to May 2025. Christine has extensive experience in music education, including positions such as Adjunct Lecturer at both the University of Southern Indiana and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Prior experiences include roles as Instructor of Record for various music history courses and staff member at the Latin American Music Center. Christine held the position of Dissertation Fellow at The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and worked as an Orchestra Librarian at the Lake George Music Festival from 2014 to 2017. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Musicology from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by a Master's Degree in Musicology and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Spanish and Music Education.
