Professor Ren Yi. (Ph.D.

Professor Ren Yi holds a PhD in Economic Geography and International Business from the University of Melbourne, and an MBA in International Business from Swinburne University of Technology. Currently serving as President of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), Professor Ren Yi has extensive experience in international education and research management. Key roles include Pro Vice-Chancellor, International at the University of Southern Queensland, Non-Executive Director at the Union Institute of Language, and contributions to Universities Australia as an International Executive Committee Member. Additional involvement includes membership on the International Advisory Board for the Journal of Research Management and Governance, various reviewing positions for the Australian Research Council and European Commission, and prior leadership in the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS).
