Susan MacDermott is an accomplished academic and clinician in the field of occupational therapy. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Coordinator for the San Marcos Program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences since June 2013, Susan has extensive teaching experience, having previously worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California from September 2010 to June 2013. Prior to her academic roles, Susan held the position of Occupational Therapy Director at Mariposa Women and Family Center from November 2004 to August 2009 and served as a Senior Occupational Therapist at both the Health Service Executive Community Mental Health Center and St. Loman's Hospital in 2006. Susan holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and a Master's of Arts in Occupational Therapy from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.
