Dr. Alexander Schuchter serves as the Internal Auditor in Charge at St. Galler Kantonalbank AG since October 2022. With a distinguished academic background that includes a PhD from the University of St.Gallen and a Master's degree from Universität Innsbruck, both earned with honors, Dr. Schuchter has also held the role of CEO at Schuchter Management GmbH since 2008. Additional contributions to the field include training roles at EXPERTsuisse and the Institute of Internal Auditors, as well as a position as a University Lecturer and Researcher at Universität St.Gallen since 2008. Previous experience includes teaching at ETH Zürich, supervising and leading fraud investigations at EY, and various auditing and consulting roles from 2000 to 2006.
