Falk Uebernickel

Falk Uebernickel (付云鹏) is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur specializing in Design Thinking and Innovation Research. Currently serving as the Head of d-school and a professor at the Hasso Plattner Institute since October 2019, Falk also holds an adjunct professorship at the University of St. Gallen, where contributions include roles as both an assistant professor and project manager. In addition to teaching, Falk co-founded and chairs ITMP, a consultancy focused on human-centered design and digitalization practices. Further involvement includes board memberships in SUGAR Network for Design Innovation and multiple advisory roles, as well as investments in innovative companies like Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH and Gaudlitz Architekten GmbH. Falk's education includes a Doctor of Economics from the University of St. Gallen, complemented by experiences at Stanford University and INSEAD.
