Amy Mcdonough

Amy Mcdonough is the current Chief of Staff & Liaison to the Office of the President at University of St Thomas. Amy has over 20 years of experience in public policy and advocacy, including work at the state and federal level. Prior to their current position, they were the Associate State Director-Advocacy at AARP Minnesota, where they led state-level advocacy work in the areas of consumer protection and financial security. Amy has also worked as a staff member for U.S. Representative David Minge (MN-02), Governor Jesse Ventura, and Penny for Governor.

Amy Mcdonough began their educational career as a Humphrey Fellow in 2010-11. Amy then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, French from the University of St. Thomas.

Amy Mcdonough reports to Rob Vischer, Interim President. They work with Abigail Crouse - General Counsel, Jim Brummer - VP, Facilities Management, and Omar Correa - VP, Strategic Enrollment Management.
