Gwen W.

Gwen W. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research funding and communication. Currently serving as a Senior Adviser in External Funding at the University of Stavanger since January 2019, Gwen also holds positions as an External Funding Adviser and Researcher Development Adviser. Prior to this, Gwen was the Research Impact Manager at Worldwide Cancer Research, where the focus was on tracking long-term outcomes of funding initiatives. Additional roles include Science Communications Manager at Biomedical Picture of the Day and various research and writing positions at the University of Edinburgh, The Roslin Institute, and EUSci. Gwen holds a PhD in Dendritic Cell Subsets in Scrapie Transmission from The University of Edinburgh, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Immunology from the same institution.
