Lea Sasse

Lea Sasse is a PhD Candidate at the University of Stavanger, serving as a research fellow in the Sustainability Transformation Group within the Department of Media and Social Sciences since January 2023. Currently, Lea is also a Visiting PhD Student at Universidad Nacional de San Martín, starting in August 2024. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Lund University School of Economics and Management, focusing on innovation and R&D cooperation for European SMEs in China, as well as an internship with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where the focus was on sustainable finance and infrastructure. Additional positions include student assistant roles at Ärzte ohne Grenzen and the Auswärtiges Amt, along with an accounts receivable internship at Mercedes-Benz Group Services Berlin. Lea holds a Master of Science in Economic Development from Lund University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, complemented by a double degree from Universidad del País Vasco.
