David Nelson

David Nelson is a seasoned academic in the field of Computer Science, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer at the University of Sunderland since June 1999. Nelson has extensive experience as an External Examiner for several master's programs across multiple universities, including the University of Greenwich, Bournemouth University, and Southampton Solent University. Prior to his tenure at the University of Sunderland, Nelson worked as a Computing Officer at Durham University and contributed as a Senior Research Assistant to the DEAR project focused on natural language interfaces for databases. Academically, Nelson holds a PhD in Computing Science from Newcastle University and a Certificate in Education for Higher Education from the University of Sunderland.
