Jon MacHtynger

Jon Machtynger currently serves as an External Examiner at Kingston University and as a Technology Strategist focused on AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation at Customer Essential Ltd. In addition, Machtynger is an Associate at Cranfield University and holds the position of Visiting Research Fellow - AI and Ethics at the University of Surrey, where collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering enhances academic and industry connections. Throughout a distinguished career, Machtynger has occupied various leadership roles, including Client CTO at Microsoft and Executive IT Specialist at IBM, where responsibilities encompassed guiding organizations in cloud adoption and developing AI strategies. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science/Psychology from UCL and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Machtynger is also actively involved in board memberships with several organizations, contributing expertise in media, data, and technology.
