Lisa Collins is currently serving as Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at the University of Surrey since October 2023. Previously, Lisa held multiple positions at the University of Leeds from January 2017 to October 2023, including Professor of Animal Science, Head of School of Biology, N8 Agrifood Chair in Smart Agri-Systems, Academic Director of the National Pig Centre, and Director of Commercial Research at the Global Food and Environment Institute. Earlier roles include Professor of Animal Science at the University of Lincoln, University Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast, Research Fellow at the Royal Veterinary College, and Lecturer at the University of Oxford. Lisa's academic qualifications include a DPhil in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Oxford and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and Teaching from Queen's University Belfast.
