Tim Dunne

Tim Dunne serves as the Interim President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Surrey, leading the executive team and reporting to the Council through the Chair. In addition to this role, Tim continues as Provost and Senior Vice-President at the University of Surrey, where responsibilities include academic performance oversight and line management of facilities. Tim is also a Board Member and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee at Farnborough College of Technology. At the University of Queensland, Tim holds the position of Professor Emeritus and has served as Deputy Provost, Exec Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Director of the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect. Furthermore, Tim has experience as a Non-Executive Director at the National Physical Laboratory, focusing on commercial growth and strategic development. Academic qualifications include a DPhil and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of East Anglia.
