James Hann

James Hann is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within student unions and local government. Currently serving as Chief Executive at the University of Sussex Students'​ Union since February 2023, James previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the London School of Economics Students'​ Union from October 2018 to February 2023. Earlier roles include Chief Executive Officer at Arts Students'​ Union and Company Secretary at JN Ltd. James has a strong background in local government, with various managerial roles at Ashford Borough Council, as well as experience in licensing and events management. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management from the University of Brighton and multiple certificates in licensing law from recognized institutions.
