Sally Webb

Sally Webb is the Head of Finance at UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX STUDENTS' UNION. Sally has over fifteen years of experience in accounting and financial management.

Sally began their career as an International Accounts Manager at Network TwentyOne Support Systems Ltd, where they managed the company's global accounts and oversaw the financial operations of the business. In this role, Sally gained valuable experience in financial planning and analysis, as well as in managing and developing accounting systems.

In 2003, Sally left Network TwentyOne to start their own accountancy advisory business, Sally Webb Accountancy Services. As an independent advisor, Sally provided advice and guidance to small businesses on a range of financial and accounting matters.

In 2014, Sally was recruited by PRODUCTIVE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED to help manage the finances of a film production that was behind schedule and over budget. Sally was able to successfully rein in the production's costs and get the film back on track. This experience led to their current role as Head of Finance at UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX STUDENTS' UNION.

In their current role, Sally is responsible for the financial management of the Students' Union, overseeing all aspects of the Union's finances, from budgets and accounts to investments and fundraising. Sally is also a member of the Union's Senior Management Team, which provides strategic direction for the organisation.

Sally Webb completed a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification at managerial level in the field of management accountancy. Sally also holds an Association of Accounting Technicians qualification in accounting technology/technician and bookkeeping from Sussex Downs College.

Sally Webb reports to Paul Newton, Chief Executive. Sally Webb works with Tarek Khalil - Director, Operations, Boo Sherriff - Head, Central Support, and Nina Schäperklaus - Director, Digital Engagement.
