Brian Hudson

Brian Hudson is an accomplished academic in the field of education, currently serving as a Guest Professor of Education at Karlstad University since January 2017, where involvement includes collaboration with the ROSE research group. At the University of Sussex, Hudson holds the title of Emeritus Professor of Education and served as Head of School for Education and Social Work from 2012 to 2016. Previous roles include Professor of Education and Associate Dean (Research) at the University of Dundee, and Professor in Educational Work for ICT and Learning at Umeå University. Additionally, a long tenure from 1987 to 2006 at Sheffield Hallam University encompassed various leadership positions in education research and teaching excellence. Educational qualifications include a BSc Hons in Engineering from The University of Manchester, a PhD in Mathematics Education from Sheffield Hallam University, and an Advanced Diploma in Applied Educational Studies from the University of York.
