Jennifer Barrett

Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous at University of Sydney

Jennifer Barrett is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous at University of Sydney. Jennifer was previously the Associate Professor in Museum Studies at the university from December 2015 to December 2019. Barrett has also held the positions of Pro Dean Academic, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences from January 2012 to December 2015; Associate Professor in Museum Studies, School of Letters, Art and Media from January 2012 to December 2012; and Pro Dean, Faculty of Arts from January 2010 to December 2010. Jennifer was also the Director of Museum Studies at the School of Letters, Art and Media from January 2001 to December 2011, and a Lecturer in Art Jennifer'story at UNSW from January 1992 to December 1993.

Jennifer Barrett received their Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Technology, Sydney and their Master of Art Theory from UNSW Australia.

Jennifer Barrett reports to Mark Scott, Vice Chancellor. They are on a team with Richard Miles - Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic Excellence and Education – Enterprise and Engagement), Julie Cairney - Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research – Enterprise and Engagement), and Darren Goodsir - Chief of Staff.
