Rudolf FERENC has a diverse work experience within the field of software engineering and academia. Rudolf began their career as a Research Fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1997. Afterward, they joined the University of Szeged as an Assistant Lecturer in 2003 and later became an Assistant Professor in 2006. Simultaneously, they worked as a Chief Executive Officer at FrontEndART Software Ltd. from 2001 to 2012, where they also served as an R&D Advisor. Currently, Rudolf holds the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at the University of Szeged, a role they have been in since 2016 and 2018, respectively.
Rudolf Ferenc has a Master's degree in Software Engineer from the University of Szeged, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Later, they pursued a PhD in Informatics and Mathematics from the same university, completing their studies between 2001 and 2005. Rudolf further advanced their education, completing a Habilitation in Computer Science from the University of Szeged in 2015.
