Julian Worrall is a distinguished academic and architectural critic with extensive experience in higher education and architectural practice. Currently serving as Professor of Architecture at the University of Tasmania since January 2019 and as Associate Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Adelaide since March 2014, Worrall focuses on enhancing curriculum and research in design and urbanism. Worrall's prolific writing contributions span notable publications such as Japan Times and Icon Magazine, covering architectural criticism and urban topics.
